1. General Description

HWV turbo mill is a new generation of superfine mill, with technical development of Hober Germany and Fengli’s present technology. It’s technology is leading the way in China and fills the gap nationally. The equipment and its wear part have got a national patent with No. ZL 01 2 21204.0 and ZL 01 2 212067. It has been listed at National major new product and National Torch Plan Project.

With advanced principle, HWV turbo mill has special function as gap adjustable without disassemly. Strong vortex generated in the comminution chamber can get marvellous comminution result, as well as a good material dispersion. Compared with other mills, this equipment has following differences: shortest path for material from inlet to outlet makes lowest energy consumption. So it’s high-grade mill for special material processing. It is currently ideal energy-saving mill with good performance, little volume, low energy consumption and little noise.

 

2. Application and Characteristics

The machine a general superfine mill for inorganics and organics. It is applicated for comminution low to medium-hard materials in industries of chemical industry, medicine, dyestuff, foodstuff, feedstuff, plastics, non-metallic minerals and so on.

Characteristics as follow:

-          Cone-shaped rotor and static. Gap between rotor and static adjustable through moving the static up or down. The gap adjustable between 0 ~ 5 mm

-          Rotor’s high strength steel and high hardness wear cast imported from Europe; rotor’s ragged edge linear velocity more than 125 m/s; also long life during time

-          CAD design makes more fluent discharging and less noise. During adhesive and agglomerate processing, sticking has been extremly deduced.

-          Large air volume, low temperature rise during comminution, especially suitble for thermal plastic material and fiber; product size well-distributed

-          Vane can be chosen under rotor for enlarging airflow.

-          Convenient for maintenance, operation and cleaning

 

3. Structure and Working Principle

This machine is a turbo-type superfine mill. The machine consists of a machine body, a frame, a feeding hopper, a comminution element, a drive and motor.  

The main machine, classifier, radial fan, rotary valve,cyclone and electrical panel make up a whole system.

Working principle:

After fed into feed hopper the material is dispersed by pre-grinding blade above the rotor, and dispersed to sides of static, finally into the comminution area composed of rotor and static.

High speed rotation of rotor generates great airflow, which effected by rotating and static components inside the machine and led properly by blower, is transferred to numerous rapid torvex. The torvex drive and accelerate the material in the comminution chamber upto the same velocity with airflow.

But the rotation direction and speed are changed in a second. This comes with the result, also the turbo mill’s principle, that material particles collide with each other and crake perfectly in the high speed airflow. Only small part material gets finer through impact with the rotating and static components.

Material staying in the mill is always surround by airflow, so the unavoidably-generated heat will be taken away with the airflow. Large amount of airflow and rapid vortex guarantee the min. temperature rise.

Due to the above comminution principle, the HWV turbo mill with no selecting equipment but can realize both comminution and drying processes, supplying safe technology and fruitful interest.

The fineness and capacity can be controlled through changing height of gasket so as to change gap between the rotor and the static.
